The company is expanding the market for custom framing and building a brand associated with celebrating life's best moments. To achieve its mission, Framebridge is building a team across various disciplines, including ecommerce, retail, design, and manufacturing. Framebridge is a consumer business that operates online and in over 35 retail stores, with plans for growth. The company has four manufacturing facilities in Kentucky, Virginia, and Nevada, which allow for the production of high-quality custom products at an affordable price with a quick turnaround. The company's growth and market ownership are attributed to delighting customers who trust and value them.

Your mission: 

Your mission is to play an integral role in the accounting function at Framebridge – reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Operations Accounting Lead is expected to provide the highest level of business partnership with our Operations functions, while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and evolving our control environment.

This position will have a focus on margin by managing our Inventory and COGS ledgers, material usage, and supporting our system environment. You will serve as the accounting liaison for our manufacturing facilities by supporting margin accountability through tighter alignment with financial reporting, and you will partner with manufacturing and retail teams to resolve variances and track inventory trends. By maintaining a number of responsibilities, including daily operations of the accounting function, maintenance of accounting records, and management of a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, this role will enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with all applicable standards and principles.

Your Legacy: 

Largely in part to you, Framebridge will successfully grow to 100+ retail stores and additional manufacturing facilities while maintaining sound financial reporting and controls. You will partner with Finance, Retail, and Operations to build the Framebridge of the future.

Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager

Location: Remote

Travel Requirements: Occasionally to Washington D.C. headquarters and/or manufacturing facilities as needed to support projects.
 

Compensation: Base Salary plus Framebridge benefits 

What you’ll be responsible for:

The responsibilities of the Accounting Lead, Operations include leading day-to-day supply chain accounting for timely and accurate monthly and annual financial closes. Managing and performing general accounting functions, such as sales/revenue and inventory reconciliations. The lead will assist the Senior Accounting Manager and Controller in developing and managing accounting principles, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The position also requires interfacing with internal departments, especially Operations, to provide business solutions that comply with accounting guidelines.  Other duties include assisting with audit activities, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and budget activities, researching and documenting supply chain accounting matters, and leading ad-hoc projects to improve financial reporting, processes, controls, and adherence to US GAAP.

Who you are: 

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with a CPA preferred, and at least 5 years of professional experience, including relevant work history in a high-growth corporate environment.  Supply chain or cost accounting experience is preferred. At least 3 years of experience leading monthly close activities and managing general ledger operations. Advanced Excel skills and experience with major accounting systems like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or GP are also required. Detail-oriented team player who can work independently, multitask, and manage deadlines.  The ideal candidate is also comfortable in and enjoys a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
