UniFirst Corporation, one of North America’s largest uniform rental and facility service companies, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic student to join the accounting team. The position is responsible for supporting the accounting department.
This will be a hybrid position based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA.
Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesParticipate in ERP implementation by performing reconciliation and tie-out activitiesCollaborate with team members on ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve accounting processesHelp ensure compliance with internal controls and established accounting policiesAssist the team in responding to audit requests and gathering supporting documentationQualifications
Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong technical aptitudeEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail and ability to stay organizedAbility to work independently, must possess ability to multitaskKnowledge of US GAAPEducation:
