UniFirst Corporation, one of North America’s largest uniform rental and facility service companies, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic student to join the accounting team. The position is responsible for supporting the accounting department.
Please note that this will be a hybrid position based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA, and will be for the summer internship cycle.
Responsibilities:
Support the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesAssist the team in responding to audit requests and gathering supporting documentationParticipate in ERP implementation by performing reconciliation and tie-out activitiesCollaborate with team members on ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve accounting processesHelp ensure compliance with internal controls and established accounting policiesQualifications
Requirements:
Student currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accountingProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong technical aptitudeEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail and ability to stay organizedAbility to work independently, must possess ability to multitaskKnowledge of US GAAPUniFirst is an equal opportunity employer.
