Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated Accounting Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. This full-time role requires an individual who can efficiently handle a high volume of data entry related to payment applications, vendor invoices, and expense reports. The position demands strong analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills in a dynamic environment.
ResponsibilitiesEnter a high volume of payment applications and vendor invoices/expense reports accurately.Collaborate with other departments to research discrepancies and resolve matters promptly.Respond to daily inquiries from vendors in a professional manner.Work closely with branch offices to ensure smooth operations.Coordinate with the Accounting Supervisor and staff accountants to ensure all activities are accurately entered.Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and reconciliations.Review accounts payable and accounts receivable reports for accuracy.Perform administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.Support other areas as needed to ensure efficient operations.Resolve issues promptly and effectively as they arise.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsSolid understanding of basic accounting principles.Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable is preferred.Proficient in MS Office and Excel, with strong data entry skills.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task efficiently with outstanding work ethics.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED Equivalent required; Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.Work Environment
This position is based onsite at our corporate headquarters, providing a professional and collaborative work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
