The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join the Finance team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Mornings– must be available for weekdays. Occasional weekends, and holidays when applicable for month's end
Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $25 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing?
The Accounting Coordinator will perform activities to support the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Accounting functions. In addition to performance, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
· Manage permits, contracts and licenses and certificate of insurances to be updated and current
· Audit daily internal charging expenses and follow up to assure compliances
· Conduct quarter computer user access audit
· Support controller with various audits and data pulls
· Download monthly intercompany bills and reconcile
· Manage flow, approval, cost and tracking of capital expenses to include month end reporting and audits
· Track and assure delivery of property tax bills
· Assist with purchasing card purchases and submission of PCARD monthly reports to include JVs
· Manage uncashed payable checks for escheatment or re-issue
· Manage retention of records of hotel
· Order office supplies and other needs for finance department
· Coordinate finance department special meetings/events
· Other duties as needed by Director of Finance and Controller
