ABOUT THE ROLE
The Fleet Vehicle Accounting Coordinator is responsible for supporting vehicle payment accounting processes and administrative functions, with a focus on cost savings and efficiencies related to the floor planning process. This position also generates reports on key metrics, tracks and reconciles payments, and performs miscellaneous daily and monthly reporting, auditing, and general accounting support functions related to vehicle floor plan process.
This position will be instrumental in implementing cost control measures and ensuring the precision of our financial reporting. You will thrive in a collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning and provides genuine opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
This position reports into our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
Monitor floor plan balances for new vehicle purchases and ensure timely payment to reduce interest costsReconcile vehicle payments to statementsMonitor/report/apply for appropriate interest reimbursements where applicableCommunicate with vehicle manufacturers/dealers regarding centralized ordering transactions/issuesProduce applicable reporting regarding vehicle payment process showing impact/savings and pervehicle/floor plan/manufacturer measurablesReview a variety of reports to identify, troubleshoot and resolve errors that could impact accurate account
balancesWork accounting schedules in collaboration with other departments such as corporate accounting to ensure
vehicle cost is accurately and timely accounted forWork with internal team members, manufacturing contacts and field personnel to locate and install new
vehiclesProvide periodic Floor Plan updates to managementAssist in tracking and processing payments related to commercial truck and body acquisitions.Assist with receivable and payable processes relating to vehicle floor plan transactions.Work shared mailboxes to address funding related questions from field personnel and corporate partnersAssist in monthly audit of interest statements to ensure reasonableness; investigate and correct errorSeek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal settingMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
