Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting the accounting department in daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time. Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in all accounting records. Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation. Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Help maintain organized digital and physical financial records. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (entry-level candidates with internships or relevant coursework will be considered). Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
