Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Hardeeville, South Carolina. This part-time, in-office position is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity and offers the chance to work closely with the Director of Accounting. The role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills and experience in managing financial transactions. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. • Perform data entry tasks to maintain financial records and ensure accuracy. • Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Verify certificates of insurance and maintain compliance with company standards. • Assist with billing and collections activities to manage outstanding balances. • Build and maintain positive vendor relationships to support business operations. • Utilize Club Essential and Jonas Software to manage accounting functions. • Collaborate with the Director of Accounting to support reporting and reconciliation needs. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software, such as Jonas Club Software or Club Essential Software. • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail. • Familiarity with invoice processing and billing activities. • Ability to manage billing collections and resolve discrepancies. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
