Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Austintown TWP, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting practices and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of invoices. • Manage accounts receivable activities, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. • Utilize QuickBooks software to maintain organized financial records and reports. • Perform accurate data entry tasks related to financial documents and transactions. • Review and process invoices in accordance with company protocols and policies. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations. • Assist with reconciling accounts and preparing periodic financial summaries. • Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly. • Support the accounting team with additional administrative tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
