Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. This position offers the potential for long-term employment and is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. The role provides an opportunity to work in the dynamic agriculture industry while utilizing your expertise in financial operations and data management. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently. • Review, validate, and enter invoices into the accounting system. • Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation. • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data effectively. • Handle data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow. • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. • Provide assistance during audits by preparing necessary documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment screening process. • Previous experience in the agriculture industry is a plus, though not mandatory.
