Description A mid-sized law firm is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient Accounting Specialist to join their Finance Team. with strong attention to detail and broad accounting experience to join our Finance Team. This full-time, mid-level role offers opportunities for growth and professional development within a collaborative law firm environment. Responsibilities: + Receive and record incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, ACH/wires, and Stripe online payments + Process daily deposits and ensure proper application of payments + Receive, research, verify, and enter vendor invoices, firm reimbursements, and client cost transactions + Perform general ledger coding + Handle weekly check runs and ACH/wire batches + Maintain accurate vendor records and W-9 documentation + Create and update client and vendor accounts, including conflict checks + Reconcile credit card and bank statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies + Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and payments + Assist with 1099 year-end reporting and tax documentation + Perform data entry, scanning, and organization of financial records (digital and paper) + Assist with general support across finance, billing, and administrative functions Requirements + 3-5 years of recent experience in a similar accounting role (AP/AR required) + Prior law firm experience strongly preferred + Experience with conflict checks and billing/accounting platforms (Coyote Analytics a plus) + Proficient in Excel, Word, and general data management systems + Strong organizational and analytical skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
