Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Garfield Heights, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and reconciliations. You will work on-site, contributing to the company's financial operations while utilizing your skills in accounting software and Excel. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, payment submissions, and monitoring aging reports. • Handle accounts receivable processes such as billing, cash reconciliations, and cash applications. • Perform accurate data entry to ensure records are up-to-date and compliant with company standards. • Reconcile credit card transactions and cash payments to maintain financial accuracy. • Support financial operations by coding invoices and ensuring proper documentation. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues. • Ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and organized manner. • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting. • Ability to reconcile cash payments and credit card transactions accurately. • Experience in billing and cash applications. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work on-site and adhere to a flexible Monday-Friday schedule.
