Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in San Jose, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment tracking. • Handle billing activities, ensuring timely and precise invoicing to clients. • Conduct data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records. • Process invoices efficiently, verifying details and resolving discrepancies. • Utilize financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting operations. • Generate and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel to support financial decisions. • Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting workflows and resolve financial issues. • Maintain organized documentation of financial transactions and audits. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including report creation and data analysis. • Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice processing. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Solid organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. • Previous experience in the waste management industry is a plus but not required.
