Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient processing of transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of their work. Responsibilities: • Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis and request refund checks when necessary. • Process purchase order invoices promptly and accurately. • Update and maintain vendor accounts with current and relevant information. • Handle monthly credit card statements for branch operations. • Provide tax-exempt certificates to vendors as required. • Manage the Auto Match program for Parts Town invoices. • Investigate and resolve accounting-related inquiries from the operations team. • Assist in compiling data for the annual external financial audit. • Serve as a backup for processing purchase order invoices related to customer drop shipments. • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support accounting functions. Requirements • Associate Degree in Accounting or at least two years of practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping. • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat, with demonstrated computer and problem-solving skills. • Ability to maintain focus while working on a computer for extended periods. • Familiarity with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), QuickBooks, and invoice processing. • Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy. • All candidates are required to undergo pre-employment evaluations, including assessments for substance use and background verification. • Commitment to diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
