Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves supporting financial operations, managing data, and performing accounting tasks with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Perform routine accounting tasks such as reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and analytics to support organizational decision-making. • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by conducting thorough reviews and audits. • Manage and organize large datasets to streamline operations and improve efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. • Generate reports and summaries to provide insights into financial trends and performance. • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. • Offer administrative support for finance-related projects and initiatives. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting workflows. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced spreadsheet functions. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Experience with data management and financial analytics. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Effective organizational and time-management skills. • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. • Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.
