Accounting Clerk
Description Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in Wilsonville, Oregon. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and assisting with monthly financial close activities. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while honing your expertise in accounting and operational processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and distribute supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency. • Enter and reconcile financial data using QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring precision in formulas and calculations. • Manage billing processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accruals to maintain smooth financial operations. • Assist with month-end financial close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Support inventory tracking and management activities, including working with systems like Fishbowl. • Maintain and organize approximately 200 transaction files monthly, with a focus on processing complex invoices. • Collaborate with vendors, traders, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes. • Contribute to freight billing tasks and cash receipt management as needed. • Provide oversight and management of the accounts payable inbox to ensure timely responses and actions. Job Order: 03600-0013263287 Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, including the ability to work with formulas. • Familiarity with inventory systems; experience with Fishbowl is highly desirable. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage high volumes of transactions. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
