Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Salinas, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting our accounting department by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions and administrative processes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment while developing your accounting skills. Responsibilities: • Process invoices and manage accounts payable with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. • Reconcile accounts by identifying discrepancies and resolving issues effectively. • Perform data entry tasks to maintain organized and precise financial records. • Provide customer service support related to accounting inquiries. • Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and administrative duties. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and financial processes. • Support accounts receivable functions when required. • Handle other accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative roles. • Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. • Experience with invoice processing and reconciliation. • Ability to provide excellent customer service with attention to detail. • Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.
