Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks while supporting customer service operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and timeliness. • Handle invoice generation, verification, and payment tracking to ensure accuracy. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Input and manage financial data using systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Prepare and review billing statements to ensure compliance with company policies. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Support ad hoc accounting projects and tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. • Proficiency in accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly in dynamic situations. • Solid understanding of billing and account reconciliation processes. • Effective communication skills to handle customer inquiries and collaborate with team members. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
