Accounting Clerk
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Valley Park, Missouri. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient processing of equipment sales across multiple branches. The role demands a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle high workloads, especially during peak sales periods. Responsibilities: • Process equipment sales transactions, including calculations, warranty submissions, and dealer participation requests, ensuring accuracy in all documentation. • Communicate and coordinate with banks, customers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless transaction workflows. • Manage a high volume of sales deals submitted by sales representatives, ensuring timely and efficient processing. • Handle invoice processing and accounts receivable tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Perform data entry tasks related to billing and payment submissions efficiently. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis of financial data. • Conduct title searches and compile preliminary title reports as required. • Adapt to extended work hours during peak periods, including overtime and holiday shifts. • Maintain organized records and documentation to support audits and compliance requirements. • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements. Requirements • Previous experience in lending, accounting, or a similar field. • Proficiency in accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks effectively. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting. • Excellent communication skills to interact with banks, customers, vendors, and internal teams. • Experience with title searches and preliminary title reports. • A proactive and self-motivated attitude to handle demanding workloads. • Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime and holiday shifts, without exception.
