Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in East Providence, Rhode Island. This role involves managing high volumes of financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency. • Perform thorough reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Support financial operations across multiple companies, maintaining consistency and quality. • Handle a high volume of invoices, managing approximately 20,000 annually. • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as vlookup and pivot tables to analyze and organize data. • Operate within accounting software systems, such as Accumatica, to maintain financial records. • Assist with billing and invoice processing to ensure timely payments and collections. • Enter and manage data accurately to support seamless financial operations. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve financial issues. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup and pivot table functions. • Familiarity with accounting software systems, such as Accumatica or SAP. • Exceptional organizational skills to handle high volumes of financial transactions. • Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed financial records. • Experience in supporting financial operations across multiple entities. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
