Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Milford, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with foundational accounting knowledge and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to essential financial tasks while collaborating with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records. • Process invoices and manage billing activities efficiently. • Enter and maintain accurate financial data in systems and spreadsheets. • Review and balance accounts to ensure proper documentation and compliance. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial information. • Support general accounting tasks including clerical and administrative duties. • Assist with bank-related accounting activities as needed. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues. • Maintain organized records and uphold confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing. • Strong skills in data entry and maintaining financial accuracy. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its financial functions. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Preferred experience in bank accounting or financial services. • Effective communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
