Description
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team on a contract basis in Alliance, Ohio. This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your accounting expertise while contributing to critical financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Account Reconciliations: Conduct detailed reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
+ Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Process invoices, track payments, and handle billing tasks with precision.
+ Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting systems, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Financial Reporting: Generate reports and summaries relating to account statuses and financial transactions.
+ Software Utilization: Leverage tools like QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for efficient completion of daily tasks.
+ Monthly & Annual Financial Close Support: Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial close activities.
+ Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all accounting functions comply with company policies and industry regulations.
+ Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide assistance with specialized projects and financial duties as required.
Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and managing accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Familiarity with billing, invoice processing, and data entry tasks.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software, including Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
