Accounting Clerk
Description Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client’s finance team on a contract basis in Alliance, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with various accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: + Perform precise and timely account reconciliations to maintain compliance with company financial standards. + Process and manage invoices, resolving any discrepancies to ensure prompt payments. + Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry and accurate record maintenance. + Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency. + Assist with billing operations, ensuring invoices are accurately generated, distributed, and tracked. + Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, organizing documents, and maintaining financial records. + Update and maintain financial data using accounting software tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel). + Review financial documents thoroughly for accuracy and compliance with legal regulations. + Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role. • Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. • Skilled in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and recordkeeping. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. • Familiarity with invoice processing and billing operations. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • High level of professionalism and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
