Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Cocoa, Florida. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting operations, including handling payroll tasks, managing expense reports, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Review and manage expense reports, verifying details and ensuring proper documentation. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records for auditing and reporting purposes. • Assist in general bookkeeping tasks and the organization of accounting documentation. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Address inquiries related to payroll and expense reports, providing prompt and thorough responses. • Contribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities. • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company standards in all accounting tasks. Requirements • Proven experience with payroll processing and expense report management. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Familiarity with reconciliation processes and financial reporting. • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
