Description We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient processing of transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting who thrives in a detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities: • Accurately record and reconcile credit card transactions to maintain financial accuracy. • Input manual checks into QuickBooks Desktop to ensure proper documentation. • Handle accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing invoices. • Issue checks as needed in a timely and organized manner. • Maintain well-organized and precise financial records to support reporting and audits. Requirements • 1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is essential for this position. • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with numerical data. • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. • Familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks. • Strong skills in account reconciliation, invoice processing, and data entry.
