Our client in the tech industry, located in the thriving business hub of San Diego, CA, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: + Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy. + Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment reconciliation. + Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card statements. + Maintain and organize financial documents and records for internal and external audits. + Prepare and distribute reports, including expense summaries and account reconciliations. + Support the Finance team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed. Requirements + High school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus. + 1-2 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience + Proficiency with accounting software tools; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is preferred. + Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including ability to use formulas and create basic pivot tables. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
