Accounting Associate | Orlando, FL
Description
Assisting the Controller with day to day aspects of construction accounting and implementation support for new Spectrum software.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings and reporting.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for ongoing construction projects.Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and timely billing.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections.Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments while maintaining proper documentation for lien releases.Assist in the implementation and optimization of Spectrum software, including data migration and user training support.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.Provide administrative support to the Controller and accounting team as needed.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
