Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities: + Processes accounts payable invoices while reviewing for possible debits to vendors using accounts receivable aging reports + Ensures accurate and timely vendor payments + Performs and supports internal and external audits + Works in a team environment and assists in other finance functions as required Requirements: + Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or related work experience + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals + Ability to write routine reports and email correspondence + Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders + Proficiency with word processing software, Microsoft Excel, email, accounting software, and internet applications **Pay Details:** $45,000.00 per year Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
