Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. This role involves supporting critical banking and accounts payable functions while ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders across various time zones. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at handling customer interactions effectively. Responsibilities: • Manage and complete paperwork related to banking transactions and company information. • Communicate effectively with accounts payable clerks, managers, buyers, and other team members from organizations of varying sizes. • Address and resolve any discrepancies in financial records or payments promptly. • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure smooth interactions with clients and vendors. • Coordinate work schedules to accommodate customers in different time zones, ensuring accessibility. • Support accounts payable processes by verifying and reconciling financial data. • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable processes and banking transactions. • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively. • Demonstrated ability to resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Proficiency in handling paperwork and maintaining accurate records. • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying schedules. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred. • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
