Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented full-time Accounting Assistant to join our team onsite at the League City, Texas campus. In this role, you will provide essential accounting and administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
What will you do:
Manage accounts receivables for investments, including receiving and recording payments for mineral investments Provide credit card reconciliation support, specifically for the Mortgage Loan & Real Estate department's expenditures Establish and maintain tracking systems, records, and team calendars to ensure efficient workflow Prepare monthly reports and quarterly journal entry binders to support financial reporting Review, code, and process legal expense journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain and enhance spreadsheets with your input to improve data management and reporting
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent and relevant work experience considered Professional experience in accounts receivable, office/clerical, administrative Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Teams Exposure to the Yardi system is beneficial but not required
