Responsabilities
Manage and guarantee monthly/ semi-monthly / weekly payroll accurately and within agreed timeframes ensuring the financial accuracy as per benefits and taxes consistent with Union and State wage and labor lawsManage procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the payroll team through proper planning & schedulingContribute to the identification and implementation of business operational improvements, identifying system deficiencies and providing input to potential system solutionsBuild strategic relations with other areas and collaborate with key partners to achieve desired business resultsGeneration and distribution of key reports & analysis used for various purposesEnsure compliance with internal control requirements & SOX requirementsManage special programs to support the business restructuring in different businessesEnsure adequate controls are in place to protect data and ensure that changes are properly authorized and updated on timeManage the department budget for the payroll/timekeeping function, including 3rd party costsLiaising with account reconciliation team & officers from government departments (Tax, Social Security, etc.) to resolve payroll reconciliation & queries
