Description We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join a company in the banking industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment. This position is on site Downtown Los Angeles. Transaction Management and Oversight: + Assign AML Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) transactions and handle on-hold transactions. + Process ACH payments, including NACHA reporting. + Track real-time fund flows, settlements, and account statuses. + Analyze transaction volumes and prepare reports. + Manage high-risk user accounts. + Update sender/recipient statuses on the blacklist. + Report false sanctioned transactions and adjust transfer limits as needed. System Integrity and Monitoring: + Maintain the operational integrity of remittance systems. + Review daily transaction statuses, failed payments, and rejected transactions. + Address financial service issues with external partners to maintain smooth operations. + Resolve transaction discrepancies with external partners collaboratively. + Act as a liaison between internal teams and external service providers. Requirements + Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately. + Strong prioritization and collaboration skills. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools. + Positive attitude and high professional standards. + Experience in operations, U.S. banking systems, or related financial sectors. + AML monitoring experience, preferably within banks or financial institutions.
