Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and execute timely and accurate billing submissions to the accounting department.
• Maintain and update billing-related data to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and processes.
• Verify production reports and statements of work (SOWs) for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve any issues related to billing or accounting.
• Analyze financial data to support reconciliation efforts and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving billing workflows and accounting practices.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements within all accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Strong knowledge of billing functions and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to accounting processes.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
