Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring data accuracy, streamlining processes, and supporting financial operations within the real estate property management sector. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
• Extract and compile data from various systems, including databases and scanned documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Clean and organize data by removing duplicates, filling in missing information, and standardizing naming conventions.
• Validate data through reconciliation with source systems and cross-referencing legal documents for accuracy.
• Load data into system templates and test imports in staging environments to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct post-load validation by running reconciliation reports and verifying financial calculations for accuracy.
• Collaborate with end users to perform user acceptance testing and simulate lease lifecycle events.
• Monitor and address errors during data imports, ensuring compliance with system constraints and limitations.
• Prepare detailed reports on financial metrics, lease data, and other critical information for stakeholders. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ADP, Ceridian, and Concur.
• Experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of accounting functions.
• Knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to audit and validate complex financial data.
• Familiarity with lease agreements and property management processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling large datasets.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and end users.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings and resolving discrepancies.
