About the Role:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, from daily transaction processing and reconciliations to supporting month-end close and contributing to process improvements. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be vital in maintaining financial compliance and supporting informed decision-making within our dynamic international environment.

Financial Operations & Reporting:

Accurately record and maintain financial transactions in compliance with local accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP) and legal requirements. Perform timely and accurate account reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data integrity. Actively contribute to month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Manage and maintain comprehensive financial records, ensuring proper account setup, clearing, and meticulous documentation. Payment Processing & Treasury Support: Execute electronic and manual payments to vendors, government entities, and other third parties, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal policies. Monitor payment statuses and efficiently resolve any payment-related inquiries or issues. Oversee petty cash management and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursements. Process Improvement & Compliance: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, HR) and external partners to streamline financial document processing and resolve outstanding issues. Identify opportunities for process enhancement and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and controls, ensuring robust compliance. Fixed Asset Management Support: Assist in fixed asset management activities, including capitalization, transfers, and disposals, in close coordination with relevant departments. Your success is grounded in

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1-3 years of progressive experience in an accounting or financial role, preferably within a multinational corporation or a dynamic business environment.

Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP).

Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).

Experience with electronic banking platforms and payment processing systems.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly and professionally to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with cross-functional departments. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical financial practices.
