SCOPE OF ROLE

This role will support the monthly close and consolidation process in partnership and collaboration with members of the broader accounting and FP&A team and other stakeholders throughout the Company. This position will maintain close working relationships with Segment Controllership , FP&A ,commercial teams and Finance teams and various departments throughout the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the monthly close and consolidation process, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, accruals / reserves, debt, allocations, insurance, and equityPrepare certain journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analyticsWork closely with the FP&A team for Annual operating Plan, Strat plan and day to day operationsDrive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in the monthly close process through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measuresSupport internal control assessments and establish and maintain effective design and operating effectiveness of internal controls of assigned processesImplements processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies.Provides SEC Reporting support as needed – rollforwards, support schedulesCoordinate with and support external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audiWork Closely with the division Directors to achieve the desired outcome

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA or CPA equivalent preferredAt least 5 years of relevant accounting experienceConsolidation experience at a large, multi-national company is strongly preferredExperience with Oracle/SAP ERP system, Hyperion and/or OneStream is strongly preferred. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Public accounting and/or large US public company experience a plusStrong understanding and practical working knowledge of US GAAPManufacturingexperience is a plusStrong cmmunication skillsCurious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedbackInsightful ability to identify trends and themes for continuous improvement across the functionAbility to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives, changing direction along the way to achieve business objectivesMotivated by and thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities.
