As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the corporate accounting team. You will ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. You will report to the Accounting Supervisor. On a given day, you may: Support month, quarter, and year end reporting activities. Prepare and post journal entries. Perform regular reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls. Participate in monthly balance sheet reviews working with the business and SSC. Support OneStream reporting. Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial transactions and that they follow US GAAP and JBT Marel standards. Support internal and external audit requests and participate in efforts to improve audit and control findings. Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting CoE and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team. Identify opportunities for process improvements Collaborate with teams to improve accounting operations. Participate in special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager. Requirements for the role Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9, and O365). Experience ensuring SOX compliance. You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Travel & Location You will be under a remote schedule. COMPENSATION RANGE: $75,000-$105,000 Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
