From leveraging insights and analysis to make data-driven decisions - to spearheading sustainable business practices that contribute to consistent and reliable business growth - we are unwaveringly passionate about making a meaningful impact, and always doing the right thing. **About the role** As an Accountant R2R you are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial reporting and accounting activities. **Your responsibilities** + Support reporting (according to the closing schedule) and account reconciliation processes + Support all GL transitions in Greece + Responsible for the tax accuracy and timely submissions + Support of Accounting & Compliance Manager in statutory and tax-related activities, including coordination of tax and statutory audits + Support accounting treatment of (judgmental) transactions + Coordinate and support of Accounting & Compliance Manager for the closing calendar + Coordinate external and internal audits + Take E2E ownership for the accuracy & correctness of the books + Manage and co-ordinate the end to end month/quarter/year end processes for transacting, closing and reporting the Group accounts including control and reconciliation of the general ledger. + Ensure accounting rules are properly applied for financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards and secures integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice + Support of Accounting & Compliance Manager to prepare the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statements + Coordinate compliance according to the Internal controls We offer a 1 year fixed-term contract. **The experience we're looking for** + Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance + 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG **The skills for success** + Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations + Excellent leadership skills + Strong attention to detail + Experience with financial software systems.(SAP) + Excellent communication skills + Excellent in Greek and English + Financial Acumen + Adaptability / Flexibility / Speed **What we offer** With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
