Description Robert Half is working with a highly respected construction client on the North Shore looking for an Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent role, reporting into a Director, that will largely support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close functions. Our client is looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience, and any prior knowledge of QuickBooks would be nice to have. Prior experience in the construction industry would be preferred too. Starting salary for this opportunity is around $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus. There's competitive benefits offered too. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or office management roles. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including QuickBooks. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and functions, including AP and AR. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and team members. • Familiarity with payroll processing and compliance requirements.
