**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary**
The successful candidate will be a critical player in Lease Accounting for the Global Lottery organization, including monthly processing of lease activity, account reconciliations and reporting including IFRS reconciliations, rent roll compilation, segment review, and financial disclosure reporting requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the lease accounting processes including training, documenting and oversight of lease processes and procedures to ensure timely reconciliation and completion of all lease related entries. The position must deliver exceptional customer service and build successful relationships interacting cross-functionally, managing projects, and other duties as assigned.
**First Year Goals**
• Develop knowledge base on Lease Accounting using a 3rd party solution, and work with various business partners including Real Estate and Technical Accounting organizations.
• Interact with various business partners daily and contribute to specialized processes
• Develop standard process methodologies and provide training in North American and International subsidiaries to ensure appropriate lease accounting treatment.
**Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 3+ years accounting or related experience
• SAP or similar ERP accounting software experience
• Advanced PC skills with emphasis on spreadsheet application (Microsoft Excel – databases, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
• Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, a team player, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, environment with stringent deadlines
• Ability to work cross-departmentally and have a strong understanding of process controls to ensure proper financial postings
**Preferred Qualifications**
• IFRS / US GAAP technical knowledge

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795 - $122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
