POSITION SUMMARY

The Accountant II consistently treats internal and external customers with courtesy and sensitivity. This position is expected to exceed in assuming and completing responsibilities as assigned. The Accountant II always behaves in a professional manner and openly accepts and applies constructive criticism as needed.

The Accountant II produces accurate, high quality deliverables requiring occasional review according to pre-established guidelines develops and utilizes tools to verify accuracy of product prior to submission.

This position also performs a variety of complicated tasks and is expected to generally work independently as required.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years accounting experience in healthcare or related area required. Candidate should also have a strong understanding Microsoft Office Applications required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the ability to perform the department specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires desk and computer work a majority of the day with frequent standing and walking and reaching.

This position reports to Department Leadership.
