About This Opportunity The Accountant II will be responsible for accounting for the operational activity of a portfolio of healthcare clients. As part of this role, the Accountant will be responsible for reviewing agreements, interacting with clients, and ensuring compliance with contractual financial terms. In addition, the role will also be responsible for analyzing and accounting for high volume interaction between clients and retail channels. The position will be responsible for completing standard monthly analyses and reporting in conjunction with the closing of the financial statements. The responsibilities for this role include the monthly reconciliation of certain income statement and balance sheet accounts. An ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for accounting and learning. Responsibilities Review sales arrangements to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and InComm accounting policies. Work with account management to ensure proper financial interaction between InComm and its healthcare clients. Assist in the research and evaluation of transactions, legal contracts, business practices and policies for compliance with accounting and reporting guidance. Analyze and understand the various product/service offerings and the related revenue streams to ensure proper revenue recognition. Make process improvement recommendations with regards to policies and procedures. Provide analytical and accounting support to month-end closing process and ensure ongoing integrity of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Support company compliance with internal control processes and documentation requirements such as supporting Blackline account reconciliation initiatives. Execute ad-hoc projects based on a constantly evolving business. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2+ years in a corporate accounting environment and/or public accounting. Experience with computer functions/programs/operations e.g., Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power Bi, Alteryx Organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to meet deadlines.
