Position Summary:

Functionally reporting to the Segment Finance Director, the Staff Accountant will support the monthly accounting close and consolidation process in partnership and collaboration with members of the broader accounting team and other stakeholders throughout the Company.  This position will maintain close working relationships with Segment Controllership and Finance teams and various other departments throughout the organization, including Treasury, Legal and HR.  The Staff Accountant is a full-time role. 

This role will have a broad responsibility for the following areas:General LedgerConsolidations and Intercompany Accounting– ownership of the final consolidation and intercompany elimination process, Hyperion loads, mapping, etcTreasury Accounting – debt and interest, hedging, cash reconciliations, dividendsUS Ledger Accounting – shared accounting for certain activities of US and Mexico based businesses

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including consolidation and reportingWork collaboratively across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial dataUtilize Oracle ERP systems and consolidation tools such as Hyperion or OneStreamPrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with company and regulatory standardsGenerate reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAssist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA or CPA equivalent preferredAt least 2 years of relevant accounting experienceExperience with ERP system, Hyperion and/or OneStream is strongly preferred.Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Public accounting and/or large US public company experience a plusGood understanding and practical working knowledge of US GAAP highly preferredManufacturing experience is a plusGood communication skillsFast Learner and highly trainableA team player and can collaborate effectivelyCurious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedbackMotivated by and thrives in a fast-paced environment
