Description Robert Half is currently seeking an Accountant in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including the general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, and more. If you have 2+ years of Accounting Experience, this might be the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: • Track and monitor bank deposits and charges to maintain updated financial records. • Prepare and post journal entries • Reconcile general ledger cash accounts and related balance sheet accounts. • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions • Perform additional accounting responsibilities as assigned to support business needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and control procedures. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proven time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
