Description We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial data management. Responsibilities: • Assist in transferring financial data between accounting systems to support organizational updates. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and complete. • Process accounts payable transactions while adhering to established guidelines. • Conduct detailed account analysis and verify accounting entries. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, review, and analyze large datasets. • Follow established processes to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial reporting. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Maintain meticulous attention to detail when performing tedious financial tasks. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and clarify requirements. Requirements • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data. • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and numerical information. • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and organization. • Ability to follow established processes and guidelines consistently. • Experience with accounting systems and functions is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliations and analysis. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
