Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of accounting operations by handling routine financial tasks, reconciling accounts, and supporting customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Perform clerical duties related to accounting, such as preparing deposits and matching payments to purchase orders. • Manage basic accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues or complaints through research and problem-solving. • Post and verify financial data to support the maintenance of accounting records. • Assist in financial reporting tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports. • Process payments and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures. • Support ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. • Proficiency in financial reporting and payment processing. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to research and resolve financial discrepancies effectively. • Familiarity with internal controls and compliance standards. • Strong analytical and organizational skills. • Experience in handling clerical duties within an accounting function.
