Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Country Manager, you’ll provide analysis and reporting of financial transactions and information for finance, taxation and audit purposes. You’ll also assist with budgeting and audit processes and produce management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing annual financial statements and managing external and internal audit requests.
Preparing quarterly and annual tax calculations and income tax returns.
Producing management reports and finance board papers.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and managing the month-end process.
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining accurate financial records and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Building strong relationships with auditors and other key stakeholders.
About you
You bring at least 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, along with a relevant tertiary qualification and professional certification. You’re confident working independently and collaboratively, and you have a strong understanding of financial reporting within complex environments.
You’ll also have:
Proven experience in financial services or a similarly complex organisation
Strong attention to detail and accountability for your work
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including senior leadership
