What You'll Do
As a dynamic, process-oriented Accountant, you'll support our Finance and Accounting Team in Budapest and act as a competent contact person for matters related to our local legal entity’s accounting, project accounting, and invoicing & taxation.
Your Responsibilities
Fixed Assets Management: Oversee the management and accounting of fixed assets.Client Invoicing: Handle client invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing.Financial Closing: Conduct monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and complete.Communication with Auditors and Tax Authorities: Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and tax authorities, providing necessary information and documentation.Vendor Invoice Management: Manage vendor invoices, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and promptly.Statistical Reporting: Prepare and submit statistical reports as required by regulatory bodies.Project Accounting: Track projects, monitor work-in-progress, maintain accounts receivable, perform timesheet validation, and support billability reporting.VAT and Regulatory Compliance: Manage VAT reporting and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.Intercompany Reconciliation and AP Master Data: Support intercompany accounting processes and maintain accurate vendor master data.What You'll Bring
Degree in economics or finance related field with a valid Hungarian accounting qualification.Several years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.Experience with ORACLE, SAP, or Chrome River is a plus!Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Native Hungarian speaker with excellent English skills.
