Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processes and compliance while supporting the Finance Manager and fellow team members. Responsibilities: • Verify financial transactions and resolve error codes to ensure funds are allocated to the correct accounts. • Audit cash reserves and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records. • Assist in drafting and issuing bond payment notices for various companies. • Collaborate with the team to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Perform routine bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Support collections processes while adhering to company policies and procedures. • Maintain compliance with court codes and regulations, if applicable, during financial operations. • Actively contribute to a team-oriented work environment and assist colleagues with financial tasks.
