Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in North Dallas. This is a long-term, part-time contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment approvals. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the general ledger. • Handle accounts receivable functions, including customer invoicing and payment tracking. • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting documentation. • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements. • Utilize QuickBooks to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency. • Process invoices and ensure compliance with company policies. • Organize and maintain filing systems for financial records. • Assist in sorting and processing financial data to support reporting needs. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong understanding of general ledger and journal entry preparation. • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. • Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently. • Solid organizational skills for maintaining filing systems. • Excellent analytical skills to handle and interpret financial data. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
